LIBERTY MAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING A DISPUTE

 

Shortly after 10pm Wednesday, Nov. 26th, Casey County Deputy Tyler Luttrell reports he was dispatched to 5687 Ky 551 for a truck that ran off the road and hit a motorcycle.

Upon arrival made contact with Eric Terry. Eric stated that Clayton A. Miller, age 42 of Liberty, was the one driving the Ford Ranger truck. Eric stated that Clayton has been driving up and down the road and spinning in the gravel driveway. Eric went outside and confronted Clayton and they began to argue back and forth. Eric stated that Clayton then ran over his bike several times and then went to Keith Woldford's residence.

Deputy Luttrell, Deputy Austin Harris and Special Deputy Billy Duncan made contact with Clayton outside and Keith's house, Clayton was slurring his words and stumbling around.

Clayton stated he just started drinking when he arrived at Keith's. I asked Clayton what was going on between him and Eric Terry. Clayton stated he drove by the residence that Eric stays at. Clayton stated that Eric walked outside and was cussing at him telling him to "Get his thieving --- out of here".

Clayton stated he then took off and accidentally ran over Eric's motorcycle, Clayton stated when he came circled Keith's driveway that he ran it over on purpose that time.

Deputy Luttrell advised Clayton he was being placed under arrest. Clayton then stated that Eric hit his truck with a stick and dented it. No damage was found on the truck.

Clayton was transported to the Casey County Jail on charges of Driving on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, alcohol intoxication in a public place, & criminal mischief-1st degree.
