Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle reports: On Thursday, around 1:30 PM, his office received information that two individuals, Jeremy Sears and Danile Sears, were at Roy Patterson's residence. Both Sears had active arrest warrants.
Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Roy Patterson, who consented to a search of his residence. During the search, Sheriff Weddle discovered crystal meth on Patterson's dresser in his bedroom, additional meth on the kitchen stove, a meth pipe under a couch cushion, and digital scales on a chair cushion.
Patterson claimed the meth was not his but admitted to using it the previous day after being tested. No one else was located in the residence.
Roy D. Patterson, 38, of Kings Mountain, was charged with:
? Possession of Methamphetamine, 1st Degree (3rd Offense)
? Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
