PULASKI COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE RELEASES 2024 NARCOTICS DIVISION STATISTICS

Sheriff Bobby Jones reports the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division statistics for year of 2024.

The Narcotics Division is comprised of a three-man team whose chief purpose is to investigate and prosecute individuals who bring illegal substances into our community. All three detectives are also assigned to federal task forces, allowing our detectives the opportunity to remove the source of the drugs, before they enter Pulaski County.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division seized 7,511.59 grams (16.64 lbs.) of
methamphetamine in 2024. Methamphetamine is the most common narcotic sold in Pulaski
County and is typically sold on the street in gram quantity. If sold on the street, the value of this
amount of methamphetamine would have an estimated street value of $375,579.00.

The Narcotics Division also seized 53.99 grams of heroin/Fentanyl, 1,199.64 grams of cocaine,
22,691.18 grams of marijuana, and 970 various pills.

The Narcotics Division also seized 62 guns, $58,092. in U.S. Currency, and numerous vehicles
in 2024. The vehicles, if awarded to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, will be auctioned and
the proceeds will be used to help in the pursuit of illegal narcotics.

“The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office continues to battle the illegal drug epidemic at all turns”
stated Sheriff Bobby Jones. “The statistics we are releasing show a decrease from 2023.” Sheriff
Jones went on to say “We believe the decrease in seized methamphetamine shows the impact the
Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is having in the illegal drug community.”

“We are fortunate to have strong working relationships with our Federal partners and other local
law enforcement” stated Sheriff Jones. “At the end of the day, my goal is to make sure
individuals who deal in illegal narcotics get the message that Pulaski County is not open for
business.”

Sheriff Bobby Jones asks if you have any information about drug activity or any crime to contact
our tip line at 606-679-8477. You can remain anonymous. You can also leave a tip on our
