A Liberty woman picked up an extra drug charge while being served a warrant.
Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle reports that just before 1 PM on Thursday, while serving a parole violation warrant on Tammy G. Crosier, age 49, of Liberty, she was found hiding under a bed at 92 Ellison Drive.
Crosier attempted to hide a pink child's sock by pulling the bedsheet over it.
Suspecting there was something inside, Sheriff Weddle examined the sock and discovered a glass pipe that appeared to be for methamphetamine use. Inside the sock, a glass meth pipe with methamphetamine residue was found.
Before any further questioning, Crosier admitted the pipe was hers.
She has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, first degree (third offense), and was transported to Casey County Jail.
