Shortly before 7 PM on Wednesday, Casey County Deputy Tyler Luttrell conducted a traffic stop on a 2006 Chevy Equinox on School House Road for proof of insurance verification. The driver, Tara K. Duncan, age 25 of Liberty, had bloodshot and glassy eyes. She admitted to using meth on Sunday and smoking marijuana a few hours prior.
Upon conducting a Standard Field Sobriety Test, Tara was determined to be under the influence. She was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI). Deputy Austin Harris discovered THC gel in the vehicle's console, which Tara claimed she obtained from A&D Gas Station.
Tara was lodged in the Casey County Jail on charges of DUI-Controlled Substance-3rd Offense.
