A Casey County man was injured in a head-on crash in Taylor County.

It happened around 12:30 pm on Thursday, on KY-70 at Acton.

Taylor County Sheriff Dickie Benningfield, who responded to the scene, reported that Ronnie Garrett, 54 of Bradfordsville, was driving a 1998 Chevy truck when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Buel McDonald, an 85-year-old resident of Dunnville.

McDonald was seriously injured and required airlift transportation to UK Hospital in Lexington for emergency care.

Garrett was not injured.
