Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department swiftly responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident just before 11am Monday on North Hwy 127.

A vehicle veered off the roadway, crossed a ditch line, and came to rest upside-down in a nearby field.

Emergency services were dispatched, and the sole occupant of the vehicle was airlifted to a medical center for treatment by Air Evac.

Russell County EMS, & Sheriff’s Office also responded.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
