Jamestown Police responded to the scene at the intersection of US 127 and Old Clear Springs Rd.

The investigation revealed that 78 year old Jan Webber of Columbia, driving a 2012 Dodge Caravan, failed to stop at the red light and collided with the 2023 Kia Rio driven by 75 year old Mary Woodrum of Jamestown.

Woodrum was transported to the local hospital by Russell County EMS for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
