CASEY COUNTY FISCAL COURT MET IN REGULAR SESSION MONDAY

 

The court recognized Mary Carter the new field representative for James Comer‘s office in Boyle County.

 

Under general business magistrates approved the first reading of a budget ordinance for fiscal year 24-25. Judge Executive Randy Dial...

 

The court approved yearly bids including: road oil to Hudson Material; fuel for the Ag center & Road Department went to White Oil; food service to the jail was awarded to Brown Food Service; cleaning supplies for the jail also went to Brown Food Service; chip and seal labor was awarded to Gaddie Shamrock; hot mix asphalt went to Hinkle, washed eight stone went to Gaddie Shamrock; other stone went to Hinkle. The bid for road tiles was reserved; pest control contract went to R&R Termite and Pest Control; cleaning for the judicial Center went to B & H Cleaning, and there were no bids for milk and bread for the jail.

 

Judge Dial presented a budget amendment...


That amendment was approved.

 

Todd Harne was voted as a new member for the extensions Board to fill a vacancy there.

 

Under Road Business Judge Dial presented the rural secondary road recommendations for couple of road projects...

 

Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle gave his department monthly report...

 

The court also heard the monthly jail report...


Magistrates voted to advertise for bids for repair or replacement to the main fire panel at the jail.

 

The next regular meeting of the Casey County Fiscal Court is scheduled for June 17th at 5 o’clock.
