The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 Office advises motorists that beginning Monday, Oct. 2, crews will begin performing paving operations on KY 70X in Liberty.

On Monday crews will begin operations on KY 70X between the intersection of Cowden Street (mile point 2.2) and Beldon Ave. (mile point 2.4), this will include KY 2312 and all parking around the courthouse in downtown Liberty. 

Work will restrict traffic to one lane controlled by flaggers.

Work is expected to be complete on Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the area and to pay close attention to signage.

The starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
