A Lincoln County man was arrested on DUI charges in Casey County last week.
Shortly before midnight Thursday, Deputy Jason Grider, with Casey County Sheriff's Office, noticed a vehicle that had pulled off the roadway, about eight miles east of Yosemite on E. Yosemite Rd., next to some logging equipment and performed a traffic stop.
The Deputy noted a strong smell of acohol. The driver, 30 year old Richard A. Bruner, of 69 Means Rd., Waynesburg, had slurred speech, and stated he had drank eight beers, ate dinner, then drank two more beers, about 20 minutes prior to the traffic stop.
Mr. Bruner failed field sobriety tests.
He was charged with DUI and lodged in the Casey County Jail.
