Human remains discovered a week ago in rural Taylor County have been indentified.

On Wednesday last week, Taylor County Coroner's Office and Taylor County Sheriff's Office began an investigation into the cause and manner of death as well as the identity for an individual who's remains had been located in between New Columbia Road and Sheridan Drive.

The Kentucky State Medical Examiner's Office identified the remains as that of 34 year old Brandon Gunter, of Campbellsville.

A press released from Taylor County Coroner Daniel Cook says foul play is not suspected, however, they are awaiting further testing on Cause & Manner of Death, and the investigation is on-going.
