A Yosemite man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Russell County over the weekend.
Kentucky State Police stopped a '99 Chevy Cavalier on Rose St. in Russell Springs around 11pm Sunday night for a seat belt violation.
A passenger in the vehicle, 37 year old Patrick Michael Sisco, of Yosemite, had a warrant for his arrest. He was found in possession of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and prescription pills. Also discovered during the search was a handgun and a large sum of cash.
In addition to his warrant, Sisco is charged with Trafficking meth-1st degree, Possession of controlled substance-1st degree, Possession of a Handgun by a convicted felon, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication, & Menacing.
He was lodged in the Russell County Jail.
Trooper Jake Smith was assisted at the scene by other KSP Troopers, Russell County Sheriff’s Office, and Russell Springs Police.
