The Fiscal Court approved the minutes from the regular session of August 15, 2022. 

Magistrates accepted the treasurer's report and approved budget transfers. 

They also accepted tax rates from the School District and Ambulance Taxing District. The School Board approved the compensating rate and the Ambulance District took the 4% increase. 

The Extension District's compensating rate was approved by the court. 

Randy Watts and Lisa Peek were appointed to the Extension District Board. 

The court voted to purchase new voting machines as mandated by the state. The cost is $83,000. At least $75,000 of the cost will be reimbursed to the county over the next 2 years  

The court approved the purchase of 2 mowing tractors on the state pricing contract for the road department. 

The Casey County Detention Center's policy and procedures manual was approved. 

A request by the East Casey County Water District for the court's support of a Clean Water Act grant was approved. 

Payment of the monthly bills was approved.
