One person arrested after a mailbox was damaged, and shots fired.

It happened in the early morning hours Monday. Casey County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a location about 14 miles East of Windor at 450 Hatter Rd., Kings Mountain. A mailbox was damaged by a vehicle. The victim reports the perpetrators then returned with a second vehicle, got out and fired 5 shots from a gun.

The investigation led officers to the residence of 18 year old Spencer Gillock, at 100 Phillipee Spur Rd., Waynesburg. Gillock stated he drove by the property on Hatter Rd., and hit the mailbox with a Chevy Silverado pickup, then shot a gun in the direction of the sky.

He was transported to the Casey County Jail on charges of Wanton Endangerment-1st Degree, and Criminal Mischief-3rd Degree.
