A Dunnville man is facing DUI charges after being found passed out behind the wheel.

Deputy Jayson Grider, with Casey County Sheriff's Office, responded to the call shortly after 6pm Thursday, at the Crockett Trail General Store, about 7 miles west of Liberty on KY 70. There he found a 2000 Cadillac Seville sitting at the gas pump with the motor running. 35 year old Dustin W. Powell, of 765 Red Hill Rd., Dunnville, was passed out at the wheel.

Once Mr. Powell woke up, Deputy Grider noticed very slurred speech, heavy swaying, and unsteady on his feet.

He failed field sobriety tests and was transported to Casey County Hospital for a blood test.

Powell was charged with DUI-4th or greater Offense, & Driving on a DUI Suspended License.

He was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
