A traffic stop Friday leads to drug charges for a Casey County woman.

Around 11:30am Friday morning, Sheriff Chad Weddle pulled over a 2010 Nissan Altima for doing 68 mph in a 55 zone, about three miles south of Liberty on US 127 at the junction of W KY 70.

The driver, 50 year old Lorraine Gayle Pritchett, of Ky 1547, Liberty, had slurred speach. When asked if there were any drugs in the vehicle, Ms. Pritchett stated that she had a bag of Marijuana in her bra. She then produced the bag.
 

Pritchett failed field sobriety tests.
 

A search resulted in the discovery of 3 baggies of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine, weighing between 20-25 grams, along with $735 in cash.
 

Pritchett denied selling the Meth, stating she was going on vacation to Texas, and was taking it with her.
 

She was lodged in the Casey County Jail on charges of Speeding (13mph over limit), DUI-2nd Offense, Possession of Marijuana, & Trafficking Methamphetamine-1st Degree (over 2 grams).
 

Liberty Police Chief Garrett, and Officer Christian assisted.
