Casey County Fiscal Court met in regular session Monday.

Post Commander Glen Phillips and other members of the Casey County VFW addressed the court concerning refreshing the Doughboy monument and the flag pole at the Court House... 

The magistrates voted to allow the VFW to proceed with their plans at their discretion. The project will be completed at no cost to the county.

The Fiscal Court held a 2nd reading and adoption of Budget amendment. They accepted the Conservation District budget. The Magistrates also gave Judge Executive Randy Dial permission to advertise for yearly bids.

Under road business the Magistrates  voted to give Judge Dial permission to apply for a rubber-modified asphalt grant. The Court will also be excepting bids for road repair on Reynolds Creek and South Fork Creek Road. 

The Court accepted a budget for the new fiscal year presented by the jailer, and noted there will need to be some revisions.

Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle gave his monthly report for the month of February. 

The next regular meeting of the Casey County Fiscal Court is scheduled for Monday, April 4th.
