Two Yosemite residents arrested on theft charges Tuesday.
32 year old Jennifer Crawford, and Steven Crawford, age 50, both of Yosemite, are facing charges in connection to a stolen trailer from August of 2021.
Jennifer Crawford is charged with receiving stolen property over $1,000 but less than $10,000, tampering with physical evidence, and endangering the welfare of a minor for her part in the stolen trailer. She's also charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (meth) and drug paraphernalia after a search of her residence, and two charges of assault 4th degree after speaking with two of her children about injuries they received.
She was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
Steven Crawford is charged with theft by unlawful taking over $1,000 but less than $10,000, tampering with physical evidence, and endangering the welfare of a minor. He's also charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 2nd offense (meth) and drug paraphernalia. Steven was not arrested due to a disabled person in the home and caring for a child.
