A Jefferson County man is facing drug charges in Pulaski County.
Sheriff Greg Speck reports that just after 2am Wednesday, Deputy Tan Hudson arrested 39 year old Michael Heath, of Louisville.
Deputy Hudson saw a 2019 Kia Optima pulling from Dry Branch Road commit a traffic infraction at the stop sign with KY 1247. He stopped the car for erratic driving & noticed that the driver appeared to be under the influence. Deputy Hudson also noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from the car. When the driver stepped out, Deputy Hudson was able to locate a small amount of marijuana in the car and on Mr. Heath.
After the arrest, Deputy Hudson located suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin, and suspected marijuana in the center console.
Mr. Heath was arrested numerous drug & traffic charges and transported to the Pulaski County Detention Jail.
