A Liberty homeless man arrested for causing a disturbance at a local gas station Thursday evening.
Deputies with Casey Co. Sheriff's Office, responded to the call just after 8pm at Jack's Express, on S. 127, about five miles South of Liberty, where workers reported a man yelling and cussing in the parking lot.
Deputy Geoffrey Brown was first on the scene and found 35 year old James Michael Terry, yelling and cursing in the parking lot, as well as going to the roadway. Deputy Vance Davis arrived a short time later and found Mr. Terry on the porch of a house, continuing his tirade.
Terry was taken into custody on charges of Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance, and Disorderly Conduct-2nd Degree.
He was also served several outstanding warrants for Parole Violation, and 3 warrants for Failure to Appear, 2 from Casey County and 1 from Russell County.
Liberty Police Officer Hunter Christian assisted.
