The Casey County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two vehicle fatal accident, which occurred around 1pm on Saturday, Oct. 2nd.

The accident happened on Chelf Ridge Road, KY 1552, about 7 miles north of Liberty.

Authorities tell us 69 year old Martha J. Allison, of Snake Ridge Rd., Liberty, died as a result of her injuries.

She was driving a 2003 Mazda 6 when she collided head-on with a 2010 Toyota Tundra, driven by 32 year old Daniel K. Tarter, of Chelf Ridge Rd., Liberty. 

Deputy Gregory Hopkins is investigating.
