LIBERTY CITY COUNCIL REPORT

 

The Liberty City Council met in regular session Monday.

 

Trick-or-treating hours were set for Saturday, October 30th from 4 PM to 7 PM.

 

The council heard a second reading of an ordinance relating to the property tax rate for the city. Mayor Steven Brown…

The ordinance was approved. The only nay vote was from Councilman Richard Montgomery.

 

Under old business Councilman Brian Beeler asked about the progress on the bridge at Bent Creek Estates otherwise known as the old Mays Trailer Park.

No action was taken.

 

Under New Business, there have been reports of a stench coming from sewer lines, starting at Tarter Industries in Dunnville. Mayor Steven Brown…

No action was taken. Mayor Brown says he is continuing negotiations with Tarter’s concerning the cost.
