Two people were arrested Wednesday, following a traffic stop on US 27 in Somerset. 

Deputy Hudson, with Pulaski Co. Sheriff's Office, stopped a 2019 Nissan Altima. Discovered inside the vehicle were approximately 85 grams of methamphetamine along with digital scales, and multiple needles.
 

Marcus Floyd Smith, age 49 of Brook Drive, Liberty, & Scotty Lee Nevels, age 41 of Chandler Street, Somerset, are charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine-1st Degree-Over 2 Grams, & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Smith is also charged with Driving on Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License
 

Both men were lodged in the Pulaski County Jail.
