A Science Hill man was arrested Monday night following a two vehicle accident near Liberty.
Deputy Geoffery Brown, with Casey County Sheriff's Office, responded to the call shortly before 11pm, about a mile East of Liberty on KY 70. There he found 30 year old James Dakota Hall, standing outside his vehicle. Hall stated he had crossed the center line into on-coming traffic. The arrest citation notes Mr. Hall smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech.
Deputy Brown located a box of Coors Light beer on the side of the road with 3 bottles left, which were still cold. Inside Hill's 2001 Mazda Tribute, was an empty bottle of the same.
Mr. Hall failed field sobriety tests. He blew a .175 in the breathalizer.
James Hall was lodged in the Casey County Jail on charges of DUI (Aggravated Circumstance), Possession of Open Alcohol Beverage Container in a Motor Vehicle, Wanton Endangerment-2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief-1st Degree, & Carless Driving.
