SOMERSET, Ky. (July 15, 2021) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 Office advises motorists that KY 1742 in Casey County will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning Monday, July 19, for culvert replacement.

Work will take place at mile point 6.1 (Branch of Dry Creek) between Sulphur Run Road and Harpers Way. 

Work is expected to last one week.

The start date and duration may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
