Two people hurt Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of U.S. 27 and Ky. 70.
Ethan Carter, 19, of Eubank, was transported to Lake Cumberland Hospital, and later transferred to UK by Air Evac.
A passenger, 19 year old Carlee Whitis, of Somerset, was flown from the scene to UK Medical Center by Air Methods.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says, Carter was driving a 2016 Honda Accord and tried to cross 27, pulling into the path of a 2008 Chevy SUV, driven by 28 year old Justin Wilson, of Harrodsburg.
Wilson was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the scene by Somerset-Pulaski County EMS.
That investigation is on-going.
Eubank Police, & Fire Department, and Somerset-Pulaski County Rescue personnel also responded.
