A close call with a Deputy's cruiser lands a Dunnville man in jail.

Deputy Geoffery Brown, with Casey Co. Sheriff's Department, reports as he was traveling on Contown Road, he met an '05 Dodge Neon on his side of the road. Deputy Brown initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, 40 year old Michael J. McKnight, who stated he was texting at the time.

He also stated he was taking Suboxin, and had smoked Marijuana earlier. 

Some Marijuana was located in a medication bottle in the driver's door.

Mr. McKnight was charged with Reckless Driving, Driving while Texting, DUI, Possession of Marijuana, and Improper Equipment. 

He was taken to the Casey County Jail.
