A Russell County man was arrested Sunday after tusseling with Police.

The Casey County Sheriff's Office says Deputies Vance Davis and Aaron Schoenbachler responded to the call of a suspicous car parked on a property on E KY 70.

29 year old James E. Stacy, of Russell Springs, was arrested on charges of DUI-controlled substance, driving on suspended or revoked operator license, fleeing or evading police 2nd degree (on foot), resisting arrest, 2 counts of assault 3rd degree - police officer, possession of defaced firearm, possession of firearm by convicted felon, and possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (meth).

Mr. Stacy was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
