Liberty City Council met in a special called meeting Monday afternoon at City Hall.

The council approved a second reading of an ordinance amending the budget for 2020/2021. 

The council also approved a second reading of an ordinance adopting the new budget for 2021/2022 which includes a 3% cost of living increase for city employees.

There is a possibility of another special meeting which could happen before the next regular meeting concerning litigation and acquisition of property.

The next regular meeting of the Liberty City Council is scheduled for Monday, July 12th.
