2ND VICTIM COMES FORWARD WITH RAPE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST A PULASKI TAX PREPARER

Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck reports that another female has come forward in the case against Terry Flinchum who was originally charged on April 9, 2021, by Lieutenant Bobby Jones with Sexual Abuse, 1st Degree. At that time, a female victim in her 30’s, reported to the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office that she had been sexually abused by Terry W. Flinchum, age 63, of Somerset, Kentucky. That offense occurred back in February 2021.

On April 29, 2021, a second female, also in her 30’s, reported to Lieutenant Jones that she had the same type of encounter with Mr. Flinchum back in February of this year. After investigating the second incident, Lieutenant Jones presented his investigation to the Pulaski County Grand Jury.

On June 2, 2021, the second indictment was returned charging Terry Flinchum with Sexual Abuse, 1st Degree.

According to the additional allegation made by the second victim, the abuse occurred at Mr. Flinchum’s Residence/Office on Whitetail Run off Ferry Road where he had prepared her taxes over the last three years. That was the same location the first offense occurred.

On June 3, 2021, Deputy Junior Fortenberry, with the Sheriff’s Office Court Security Division served the indictment on Terry Flinchum at the Justice Center where he was released on a $5,000 cash/property bond.

Mr. Flinchum is scheduled to be arraigned on June 24, 2021, at 9:00 AM in Pulaski County Circuit Court.

The case remains under investigation by Lieutenant Bobby Jones and the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation’s Division.
