Two people arrested following a multi-county pursuit Wednesday.

Boyle County Sheriff's Department: K9 Deputy Abbott and Deputy Simpson attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Lexington Road in Danville. The vehicle continued on, turning onto 2nd Street, and took off. The vehicle led deputies through several streets in Boyle, Garrard, and Jessamine Counties, running through stop signs and red lights. On Main Street in Nicholasville, Deputy Abbott and Garrad Co. Police Officer Willard observed the driver tossing items out the window. The vehicle then made an abrupt stop, intentionally causing Officer Willard to collide with the vehicle.

Found in the vehicle was Heroin, Marijuana, Distribution bags, an unknown substance and cash. 

41 year old Justin Cooper of Danville, and Courtney Bowen, 24 of Stanford, are charged with:
Disregarding Stop Signs & Traffic Lights, Improper Signal, Reckless Driving, Wanton Endangerment, Speeding, Unlawful Imprisonment, Criminal Mischief, DUI Suspended OL, Tampering With Physical Evidence, Trafficking Heroin, Trafficking Drug Unspecified, Possession of Marijuana, Fleeing/Evading Police, Drug Paraphernalia, and Indictment Warrants.
