The Liberty City Council met in a special session yesterday to address Sewer Rates.
The Council voted to accept a first reading of an ordinance to restructure the rates at their last meeting. Thursday's meeting was supposed to be for a 2nd reading to adopt those rates, however that didn't happen, due to a procedural error.

The Council voted unanimously to approve the first reading.
There will be another special called meeting on Monday at 5pm at City Hall to hear the 2nd reading.
The meeting is open to the public.
