A Pulaski County woman was arrested in the early morning hours Monday after getting her vehicle stuck in a Casey County creek.
Deputy Geoffrey Brown with Casey County Sheriff's Office, along with Special Deputy Brian King, responded to the scene, just after 12am, about 5 miles South of Liberty on Bill Brown Road. Upon arrival, they found 24 year old Ashley P. King, of Science Hill, in the drivers seat of a 2007 Nissan Altima, and another vehicle trying to pull her out of the creek. Ashley told the deputies she had taken the wrong road and was trying to turn around when she got stuck.
Miss King failed field sobriety tests and was taken to the Casey Co. Hospital for blood testing.
She was cited to court for DUI, & No Insurance.
