On March 14, the sheriff's office received a call of a burglary at a residence on Canoe Creek Rd. On March 17, Sheriff Chad Weddle, Deputies Jayson Grider, Brent Delp and Dustin Neat, and LPD Chief Steven Garrett and Officer Hunter Christian questioned Hunter Gillock, at his residence, about the burglary after a vehicle that was driven by Gillock was seen at the residence.

Hunter M. Gillock, 25 of Liberty, was arrested on charges of burglary 3rd degree and receiving stolen property under $10,000. Jacob E. Holt, 32, of Liberty, was also arrested on charges of burglary 3rd degree, theft by unlawful taking $500 or more under $10,000, and criminal mischief 1st degree and a warrant for failure to pay child support.

After a search of Gillock's residence, two others were also arrested: Madison Stephens, 22, of Liberty, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (meth), possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (heroin), and drug paraphernalia.

Sara Knifley, 24, of Liberty, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (meth).

All stolen items were recovered.
