Two people arrested on drug charges in a Danville traffic stop Tuesday.

Boyle County Sheriff's Department K9 Deputy Abbott and Deputy Hopper attempted to stop a Ford Mustang on Commerce Street. The Mustang continued traveling on  Shannon Ave. Deputies were finally able to block the Mustang after it turned into Holiday Inn and continued around the parking lot. 

The occupants of the vehicle were identified as 42 year old Max Joseph of Crab Orchard, and Jamie Fleming, age 41, of Danville. Found in their possession was Methamphetamine, Marijuana, scales, distribution bags and US currency.  

Both were lodged in the Boyle County Jail on numerous Drug Trafficking charges.
