A traffic stop in Lincoln County lands two people facing charges.
Around 8:30pm Monday, K9 Deputy Michael Mullins and Deputy Dustin Phillips with Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Office, conducted a traffic stop on Goshen Rd. K9 Luma was deployed around the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. During a search, approx 9 grams of suspected methamphetamine, baggies, scales and cash were recovered.
The driver, 21 year old Amber Cooper, of Stanford, was arrested and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine-1st Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, License Plate Not Legible, No Insurance, & Criminal Possession of Forged Instrument.
A male passenger was arrested on unrelated warrants.
Assisting were Deputies Harness, & Taylor, and Constable Eddie Brown.
