A Casey County woman was arrested early Monday morning after being found hiding in a farm house.
Casey Co. Sheriff Chad Weddle reports around 3am, receiving a call from land owner, Kenny Clements, stating someone was in his farm house at 5612 Dry Ridge Road, about six miles east of Liberty. Upon arrival, officers found 54 year old Ginny Lynn Godbey, of Yosemite, hiding inside the house. Her vehicle was found hiden behind the house. No one else was in the house at the time, however, Deputies found foot prints in the snow, leading into the woods.
The house has been broken into in the past few weeks & numerous items taken.
Godbey was searched as she was taken into custody. A white pill, possibly Zanax, was found in her right front pocket.
She was charged with Burglary-3rd Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance-2nd Degree-Drug Unspecified, No Insurance, & Driving on a Suspended/Revoked OL.
Liberty Police Officer Christian assisted.
