Three Casey Co. women were arrested Thursday afternoon on drug charges.
Deputy Jason Grider, with Casey Co. Sheriff's Office, responded to a call of people taking items from property belonging to Jackie Rodgers, on Short Town Rd., about 9.5 miles North of Liberty. Upon arrival, Deputy Grider made contact with the driver of a '99 Ford Ranger, 60 year old Ginny L. Godbey, of Yosemite. Godbey failed field sobriety tests and stated she had previously smoked Marijuana and done Meth. The arrest citation states Gobey had a clear baggy in her pants pocket, containing a crushed Xanax pill. More Meth and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle.
Godbey was charged with DUI-Controlled Substance, Possession of Methamphetamine-1st Degree, Possession of Controlled Substance-1st Degree (unspecified), & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Also arrested were 37 year old Roseane Lee, of Kings Mountain, and Misty D. Borden, age 42, of Liberty. Both were charged with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance, Possession of Methamphetamine-1st Degree, & Drug Paraphernalia.
