Casey County Sheriff Chad Weddle, & Deputy Grider, responded to a burglary complaint Thursday at a residence on 180 Marvin Wahl Rd. The owner stated several guns and numerous other items were taken.
An investigation led to 31 year old Jeremy Wilson, who admitted to the break-in & taking guns, jewelry & other items, also to spray painting windows and other items in the home, causing over $1,000 in damages.
Wilson was charged with Burglary-1st Degree, Theft by Unlawful Taking-Firearms, Criminal Mischief-1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, & Tampering with Physical Evidence.
On Friday, Wilson was questioned about a fire at Advanced Family Medical Clinic. He stated that he threw a Molotov Cocktail through the office window. Wilson said he'd made it at his Grandmother's house on Fair Street.
The fire caused thousands of dollars in damages to the Clinic.
Wilson was charged with Arson-2nd Degree.
He was lodged in the Casey Co. Jail.
The Liberty Police Department also investigating.
