A Mercer County man arrested on drug charges in Danville Tuesday night.
Danville Police responded around 9pm, to a residence on Lisa Avenue for reports of a burglary in progress. The suspect fled to another residence across the street, but he was quickly detained.
Witnesses say the suspect, 19 year old Taysean Coleman, of Harrodsburg, walked up to the victim’s front door and began yelling. Coleman then ripped the screen door off, breaking the security chain, while continuing to yell and scream. Coleman reportedly kicked the victim’s front door several times in an attempt to gain entry while making loud threats. Coleman also struck the victim’s company vehicle with his fists, causing damage.
The victim does not know Coleman and it is unclear why Coleman targeted her residence.
