One person was injured in a two vehicle accident in Casey County around 11am Wednesday.

Casey Co. Sheriff's Department responded to the scene on Bethel Ridge Rd., about 16 miles East of Liberty.

The accident report states a 2016 Honda CR-V, driven by 53 year old JoAnn Hensley, of Bethelridge, and a 2007 Jeep Wrangler, operated by Jason Sweet, age 27, of Science Hill, side-swiped in a blind curve, causing moderate to severe damage to both vehicles.

Hensley was transported by ambulance to Lake Cumberland Hospital in Somerset for treatment. Sweet was not injured.
