Danville Police responded to an injury accident shortly before Noon, Monday. 

Officers responded to the intersection of the South Danville Bypass and Denmark Drive where a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero, driven by 30 year old Robert A. Pulliam, of Harrodsburg, had rear-ended a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado work truck. 

Pulliam had to be extricated from the vehicle by Danville Fire and was transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center by Boyle County EMS. 

The driver of the Chevrolet had minor injuries and refused medical transport. 

The collision caused the westbound lanes of the bypass to be shut down for over an hour.
