MOTORCYCLIST LEADS POLICE ON MULTI-COUNTY PURSUIT

 

A Pulaski County man is facing numerous charges after leading police on a pursuit through three counties.


Police say in the early morning hours Tuesday, 33 year old Brandon S. Steele, of Wilson Ridge Road, Science Hill, was operating a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle. He was arrested following a pursuit that started in Pulaski County on West Highway 80, continued into Casey County and then into Russell County where he was stopped by Russell County Sheriff’s Deputies and taken into custody without further incident. 


Steele is charged with:

  • Fleeing or Evading Police, 2nd Degree (Motor Vehicle)
  • Disregarding Traffic Light
  • Reckless Driving
  • Wanton Endangerment-1st/2nd Degree-Police Officer
  • Criminal Mischief – 3rd Degree
  • Improper Registration Plate

Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy, John Wine, also served the following warrants on
Brandon Steele for:

  • Pulaski County Circuit Court Warrant for a Probation Violation. 
  • Pulaski Circuit Court Warrant for a Violation of the Terms and Conditions of Drug Court. 
  • Pulaski Circuit Court Warrant for a Violation of Probation for a charge of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, (Methamphetamine).

Mr. Steele was lodged in the Russell County Jail.

 

Assisting in the pursuit was Kentucky State Police Trooper, Adam Childress.
