4 ARRESTED DURING PULASKI CO. TRAFFIC STOP

 

According to Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck, four individuals were arrested after Deputy Tan Hudson conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Tuesday night, July 14, 2020.


Deputy Hudson was on patrol duty on Hope Way in Somerset when he observed a 2001 Buick LeSabre driving erratically. The deputy conducted a traffic stop where he contacted the driver, Jared Rowe, age 28 of Strawberry Lane, Somerset, Kentucky. Jared Rowe was immediately arrested after Deputy Hudson learned that the subject was being sought on a Pulaski Circuit Warrant and a Pulaski District Court Warrant.


Deputy Hudson conducted interviews of the three passengers and detected the presence of drugs and paraphernalia in the vehicle. Deputy Brandon Smith was summoned along with his K-9 Leo for a drug detection walk around. Several small bags of suspected methamphetamine were discovered as well as syringes after a search of the vehicle and the personal items of the passengers.


Stephanie Matthews, age 22 of Conley Drive, Somerset, was arrested and charged with: Drug Paraphernalia/Buy Possess.


Jacob Rowe, age 30 of Strawberry Road, Somerset, was arrested and charged with: 
Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine).


Kenneth Hislope, age 24 of Cotter Avenue, Somerset was arrested and charged with:

Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, (Methamphetamine).


Jared Rowe, the vehicle operator, was charged by Deputy Hudson with: 

1. Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 1st Offense, Methamphetamine).

2. Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
3. Reckless Driving

 

Jared Rowe was also served with a Pulaski Circuit Court Indictment Warrant by Kentucky State Police Trooper Adam Childress for Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine).
 

Trooper Childress also served Jared Rowe with a Pulaski District Complaint Warrant for Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition All Others Under $500.
 

All four subjects were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center without incident.
