Boyle County Sheriff's Department:

On 06/09/2020 Deputy Braydon Hoper and K9 Deputy Tanner Abbott got out with a motorcycle that had been laid over at the intersection of Knob Lick and White Oak in Junction.

After further investigation it was found that the operator Gregory Smith of Nicholasville had two active arrest warrants. Smith was then placed under arrest and searched incident to arrest.

Found on Smith was a clear bag containing +/-6G’s of a crystal-like substance and approximately $1500.00 in cash. found on the motorcycle was a confirmed stolen Glock 9mm pistol and two black digital scales.

Smith was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, Driving DUI Suspended 2nd, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Receiving Stolen Property.

Lodged in the Boyle Co. Jail.
