The bodies of two college students from China have been recovered.

Russell County Emergency Management Director H.M. Bottom, says the two were found in the area where divers and emergency responders had been looking since they went missing Friday on Lake Cumberland.

Their bodies have been turned over to the Russell County Cporoner’s office.

The swimmers, both in there 20's, disappeared Friday when they tried to catch a houseboat that was drifting off between Jamestown Marina and Wolfe Creek Dam.

Crews from several counties joined the search Sunday on Lake Cumberland.
