A Somerset man and another from Warren County, arrested on drug charges.
Sheriff Greg Speck says, on May 27th, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office’s arrested Walter B. Smith, age 33 of Bowling Green, and 45 year old James D. Brown, of Aztec Trail in Somerset.
The Sheriff's Office received a complaint of possible drug trafficking of pills and heroin in the Antioch area of Pulaski County. Deputies Matt Bryant, & Alex Wesley, located the suspected vehicle on Scenic Trail. During an investigation, Deputies located drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Walter Blaine Smith was charged with:
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or Greater Offense (Opiates)
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or Greater Offense (Meth)
• Public Intoxication – Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
• Criminal Trespassing – 3rd Degree
James D. Brown was charged with:
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or Greater Offense (Opiates)
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or Greater Offense (Meth)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree – Drug Unspecified
• Public Intoxication – Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
• Criminal Trespassing – 3rd Degree
Both were lodged in the Pulaski County Jail.
