DUI CRASH LEADS TO TUSSLE WITH DEPUTIES

A single vehicle accident led to a tussle with Police & DUI charges for a Casey County man.

Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a wreck on Wilson Ridge Road, shortly after 7pm Sunday evening.

Deputy Brian King was first on the scene and made contact with the driver, 29 year old Jordan Lynn, of 8434 KY 49, Liberty, who was still behind the wheel. King stated Mr. Lynn became outraged and started fighting. Deputy King tased Lynn twice, however, he continued to fight. Lynn then attempted to run, as Deputies Brown & Pierce arrived on the scene. He was taken to the ground and forced into handcuffs.

Lynn refused medical treatment and was taken to the Casey County Jail, where he was given a breath test, which resulted in .193, well over the legal limit.

Lynn was charged with DUI-4th Offense (Aggravated Circumstance), Driving on a DUI Suspended License, Assault on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, & other charges.

Deputy King was injured during the arrest, and went to the Casey County Hospital to be checked out.

Casey County EMS assisted at the scene.
