From a press conference held earlier Monday afternoon, Judge Executive Steve Kelley declared a State of Emergency declaration for Pulaski County being in effect as of today March 16th 2020 and go through April 16th 2020.

Kelley urges everyone to practice social distancing and have at least 2-3 weeks of supplies on hand.

Taylor County Judge Executive Barry Smith and Taylor County Emergency Management Director Ronnie Dooley have also declared a State of Emergency for Taylor County as of today March 16, 2020. Smith & Dooley both agree that everyone needs to practice social distancing and also asks to help with issue, by cancelling all in-person church services, all community meetings, gathering and other social activities for at least two weeks. 

There are NO cases of COVID-19 in Taylor or Pulaski Counties.
